I was happy to receive news from Jaworskis that you are all well after the significant earthquake! I'll be eager to read about your experience with it, and hope that the death toll does not continue to climb rapidly. I was able to find a few pics of Valparaiso and Santiago- so sad.

Hello everybody! we have started an ECONOMIC SYSTEM in our classroom. this is, (as you may already know) where we all get paid a certain amount of money for jobs we do at school, and some of that money goes in our "bank account", and the other part of it goes for spending on certain tickets like extra recess time, teacher for an hour, and so on. if you are wondering, "well, how do i type on this blog"? well, you will have to come to sorensen, and meet our fifth grade teacher, Mr. Groth, and, if you are nice enough, he might just let you join.

Hello 5th Graders!

This is my first time writing on a blog--the one I created for our classroom. I'm excited to learn about blogs, and hope that this becomes a wonderful way to share and learn together this year.

I have two questions to start:

1) What is something that you would like us to do in class this year?
2) How should we use this blog?
