hello
Hello everybody! we have started an ECONOMIC SYSTEM in our classroom. this is, (as you may already know) where we all get paid a certain amount of money for jobs we do at school, and some of that money goes in our "bank account", and the other part of it goes for spending on certain tickets like extra recess time, teacher for an hour, and so on. if you are wondering, "well, how do i type on this blog"? well, you will have to come to sorensen, and meet our fifth grade teacher, Mr. Groth, and, if you are nice enough, he might just let you join.

Bayley! What a great surprise to see you had written on our blog- twice! I appreciate your note about the economic system. The first auction was a success and I think we're really learning some things about money, but we also have some kinks to work out--like checking the accuracy of kids' math, how to take out desk rent and how to set aside the money saved. We'll get better!

SIENNA TEMPLEMAN said......... Hi mr. Groth! Why have you been sick? what do you have? Hopefully you get better! Will you be at school at all this week? If you can help it, please don't get Mr. Wold to sub again. he is evil, EVIL I TELL YOU! He says "Well- sorry but you HAVE to go to time out. Mua a a a!!!!!!!!!" He really scares me. Mrs. olmstead wasnt that bad- although she does use too many details and talks a lot!
Anyway, everyone misses you and we all wish that we could have you instead of the substitutes. They are pretty clueless about just about everything.
